The Carpentries
The Carpentries is an international organization supporting workshops teaching foundational coding and data science skills to researchers worldwide. The material for all workshops is available for free and includes introductions to Python and R programming (Software Carpentry), database and visualization applications in multiple disciplines, including sociology and ecology (Data Carpentry), and data wrangling tools like OpenRefine (Library Carpentry).
All lesson material produced by The Carpentries is available online and licensed under CC-BY-4.0.
