Programming is an essential skill for data science applications and effective, reproducible data visualization. Getting started with programming can be challenging, but several support networks exist to help you level up.
The University Libraries provides support for the R programming language every Tuesday morning, 9-11am. The sessions are currently held virtually, over Zoom. See the schedule for upcoming sessions and for more details, email Jeff Oliver.
There is also an active Slack Workspace where you can ask questions about R, Python, or your favorite data science topic. You can sign up at https://jcoliver.github.io/uadatascience-slack/.
