NIH DMSP Budgeting Update

The NIH has released updated guidance on entering data management and sharing (DMS) costs in grant budgets. Previously, DMS costs were entered as a single line item in R&R budget forms. Starting October 5, 2023, DMS cost will be entered in the appropriate budget category (personnel, equipment, supplies, etc.).  Budget justifications are still required to be attached, both for R&R and modular budgets.
